Birchington-on-Sea is a village in north-east Kent, England. It’s a part of the Thanet district and forms a part of the civil parish of Birchington. At the 2011 census, the village had 9961 residents and 4944 households. As a seaside resort, the village has an economy primarily based around tourism, with several hotels, caravan parks and leisure attractions.
