Bexleyheath is an area in south east London, in the London Borough of Bexley. It is between Belvedere and Bexley, and to the west of Dartford. Bexleyheath has its own train station and is about 30 minutes away from London City Airport.

Until the early 1800s, Bexleyheath was mostly open land with only a few buildings and a windmill. It became a parish in 1866, and its main church, Christ Church, was built in 1841. It was originally part of the county of Kent, and was made part of the London Borough of Bexley in 1965.

Today, Bexleyheath has many shops, including a large shopping centre and numerous supermarkets. The town centre has been developed multiple times to cater for the increasing number of residents. Bexleyheath has a theatre, cinema, library, bowling alley and bingo hall. There are four secondary schools in the area and numerous churches and other places of worship.

A notable nearby landmark is Red House, a former home of the designer William Morris. This was bought by the National Trust and is open to the public. It contains designs by William Morris and a variety of art work.
